Barnard Castle Engagement Portraits
On a sunny, but windy day at the picturesque Barnard Castle in Co Durham, we met Mary and Michael, and their son Elijah for their engagement portraits. Mary and Michael soon warmed to the camera and relaxed into their lifestyle portrait session and we created some beautiful images using the castle ruins and river as a dramatic back drop.
Elijah, however, was quite shy to begin with, but once we had become firm friends his character shone through as can be seen in his playful grin and cheeky face-pulling which made us all laugh.
