Wedding photography at Askham Hall

A day of wedding photography at Askham Hall in Cumbria is not something many photographers would say no to! Particularly when it is a styled shoot set up by the amazing team at Aspire Photography Training and Tebbey and Co.  Here is some beautiful inspiration for your day that is sympathetic to the the colours of the house and the availability of flowers during the winter season.

What is a styled photoshoot I hear you ask.  Well, Styled Shoots are where a group of suppliers get together to combine ideas and inspiration around a theme.  For example the theme of this Askham Hall shoot is winter although there are countless other themes to choose from.  A winter theme inspired the creators to think of muted wintery greens and pinks with pops of blue.  Everything links to conditions, flowers and fruit available and at their peak at this time of year.

I’m loving the subdued tones with the pop of blue running through this scheme together with vintage style dresses and country house elegance.  Scroll down for gorgeous images from the day and information on all the wonderful suppliers who contributed.

Askham Hall is one of the premier wedding venues in the Eden Valley.  Next to the River Lowther, it is a cosy home from home with manicured lawns and it’s own kitchen garden.  The staff are very experienced at hosting weddings and can work with you to accommodate your needs whether you choose to get married at one of the local churches (there are two nearby)  or on site there are plenty of choices.  Within Askham Hall you can choose to get married in their Bank Barn, Medieval Hall, outdoor Garden Pavillion or if you are having a small and intimate affair or eleopement you could choose the Hall for your mid-week wedding.
