You’d never have imagined such stunning weather for this beautiful Grange Hotel Wedding. The super cool and trendy, Nic and Dan tied the knot on a glorious November day in Grange-Over-Sands, South Cumbria. Just a stones throw from the magnificent Lake District fells. The day was amazing with beautiful golden sunshine. The sunset looking out across Morcambe Bay was as dreamy as the couple themselves.

Enjoy their photos and be inspired by Nic’s bohemian dress and lots of jewellery. The ceremony and reception were styled with gorgeous flower arches, a hoop table plan, and yummy cake. In the evening, the moon booth made sure there were great photos of all their guests.

The stunning Grange Hotel has a selection of truly beautiful suites which are great for those all important getting ready shots on the morning of your wedding and relaxing in for your first night as a married couple. There are gorgeous views across the bay to be had from many of the rooms and lots of flexibility for your wedding day.

Wedding Photographs at the Grange Hotel

As any wedding photographer will tell you ensuring your wedding venue has plenty of places for photos is key to getting the images you dream of. And with a myriad of little romantic corners the Grange Hotel is the perfect place. It’s elevated south-facing position ensures there is lots of light and the mature woodland provides a beautiful backdrop.

Close by, are the quaint little railway station, stunning ornamental gardens and wild beauty of the estuary with Morcambe Bay beyond. All of which are great places to have your wedding portraits taken. Nic and Dan particularly wanted golden hour images and so left their wedding breakfast to nip down to the bay for 5 minutes of portraits and were rewarded with the most gorgeous sunset with the moon clear in the sky. For a more bohemian, off the beaten track or wild look why not travel a little further afield. A short drive in the car ensures that you get the splendor of the Southern Lake District fells as your backdrop.
